Quarter on Rupniecibas Street

Application for the competition (2nd place). Territory on the corner of Rūpniecības – Pētersalas streets, Rīga. The first guideline of the project proposal is to preserve the existing trees as much as possible, as one of the basic values of the urban environment, as an ideological continuation of the theme of the adjacent Viesturdārzs. The second guideline of the project proposal is the openness of the inner quarters where the residential buildings will be located to sunlight, air flow, creating a pleasant environment for relaxation. The third guideline of the project proposal is the coexistence of residential and public functions and the ability to function complementary and without interfering with each other.
